My visit to A1 Auto Center was a very positive experience. This morning I called AAA to share the many ways your center impressed me. Within a short time, you assessed the trouble that you were able to see. Once the new part was delivered, you tested your theory. Another part was ordered and then tested. The trouble was confirmed. Along the way, the women at the front desk informed me of the mechanic's progress and explained the process in clear and sequential steps. They also were courteous and patient with every phone call and stop-by client. It was a long day but the problem was solved. It needed some strategic thinking to figure it out. The mechanic that worked on my car even came out to show me the part and explain what happened. If A1 was closer to my home, I would return. They are efficient and effective.

I would give A-1 100 stars if I could! My husband and I were on our way from MA to CT to visit family when our engine overheated on the highway. We were able to pull off and get towed to a repair shop, but we're unfamiliar with the area and nervous that no one would be able to help us at 4pm day of. We called A-1 and not only did they say they would take a look at our car that day if we were towed there, but the front desk staff also asked if we were safe and even offered to come pick us up if we were not. SO KIND and so helpful when you're panicking on the road side! We got towed to the shop and they were able to diagnose our problem and order the part. By the next day at 12pm they were completely done with the work and it came in at a lower cost than the estimate! ALL of the staff (especially the women up front who we primarily communicated with) were fantastic and so empathetic as we were very nervous about being somewhat stranded! They were polite, competent, and answered all of our questions. The sweetest part? When we got home from our trip we came to find they sent us a postcard thanking us for choosing them and wishing us well. How considerate and truly above and beyond! If we are ever in the area again and in need of car work, they will be our first call and recommendation to others. Thank you A-1!!

Chris and his staff are informative and offer suggestions so you don't have to pay for things you don't need. Perhaps the best 2 things I can say about A1 auto is that I have never had to bring a repair back in for the same thing. Each repair was done right and thoroughly the first time. Secondly, A1 is the only repair shop that EVER came in under estimate, by $150 due to not needing a part. Anywhere else they would have charged me, but not A1, totally trustworthy.
